Permissions explained

Client Voices has a simple matrix of permissions which determine what you can or cannot access. Permissions are controlled by people with Service manager level access.


Here is a summary of each permission level.


Service manager: Can create new staff members, view, edit all staff personal details, and view reports

 

Financial mentor (Full): Can create new client records. Can view, edit and delete any client record. Can create, view, edit and delete any client case.

 

Financial mentor (Mixed): Can create new client records. Can view, edit and delete any client record. Can create, view, edit and delete cases on allowed clients only.

 

Financial mentor (Restricted): Can create new client records. Can view, edit and delete allowed client records only. Can create, view, edit and delete cases on allowed clients only.

 

Client administrator: Can create, view, edit and delete any client record. Cannot mentor or access any information within cases and sessions.


 

If you have Service manager level access, you can check a staff member's permission levels. 


1 - Find the staff member in the list on the Staff page, click on their name.


 

 

2 - Once on the Staff member details page, scroll to the bottom to see the Permissions matrix.



 

3 - To change the staff member's permissions, click the Edit button.



4 - Choose the appropriate permission level for the staff member and click the Save button to save the changes.
