Remove debt items from an Alternative Budget

In the Debt Schedule of an Alternative Budget, you can create debts and make changes to existing ones. But you can’t delete an existing debt. There are technical complexities that prevent us being able to do this.

But you can remove effectively remove the debt from the debt schedule without having to delete it.

1 - Navigate to the debt schedule of the alternative budget.

2 - Click on the three dots next to the debt you want to remove.

3 - Click on Close debt.

The debt is now removed, and the debt schedule totals have changed to reflect that.

4 - Click on the View closed debts link to see the debt you have removed.

The removed debt is now visible.

5 - You can click on the Reopen debt button to return the debt to the debt schedule.
