Create an Alternative Budget

In Client Voices, your client’s budget is updated every session which helps to tell the story of your client’s financial situation progresses each session.

 

Alternative Budgets are budgets that represent hypothetical scenarios.


Some examples include:

  • Retirement
  • Redundancy
  • Change of job
  • Insolvency
  • Borrowing money

 

When you create an alternative budget, Client Voices makes  acopy of the main budget which you can edit freely without ruining the client's main budget.



Create an Alternative budget


1 - Navigate to the budget worksheet you wish to create an alternative version of.


2 - Click on the Add alternative budget button.





3 - Type the name of your budget into the Name field.


4 - Click the Create button.




Client Voices has duplicated the main budget. You can now make changes to this budget without affecting the client's main budget. 




5 - Click on the name of the budget to navigate back to the client's main budget, or navigate to one of the client's other alternative budgets.
